- The article reports on a conference held on November 26-27, 2010, in Würzburg, Germany, "Von der Eigenkirche zur Pfarreiengemeinschaft. Entwicklungslinien der Pfarrseelsorge im Bistum Würzburg" (From the Single Church to a Community of Parishes: The Evolution of Pastoral Care in the Diocese of Würzburg). Presentations included papers on the legal organization of parishes in the Middle Ages, clergy during the eras of confessionalization and the Enlightenment, and parish communications.
