Transcatheter aortic valve implantation: A novel perspective by real-time three-dimensional transesophageal echocardiography.

This article describes the case of a 85-year-old female patient who underwent a transcatheter aortic valve implantation. The patient experienced severe aortic stenosis (AS), shortness of breath and syncope. The procedure was done following real-time three-dimensional transesophageal echocardiography that enabled accurate evaluation of the aortic root geometry.
