Abstract
- The article reports on our solar system and the origin of Earth and its moon. Topics discussed include the chemical composition of the Earth and solar system, theories about the formation of the Earth and Moon, and radioactive isotopes which are used to date rocks and meteorites. Also reported are unanswered questions about our solar system such as the age of the moon.
