Abstract

The article discusses the feeding of calves. It explores the significance of feeding calves in the first month of their lives for their growth and feed conversion efficiency (FCE). Recommendations are offered on milk intake to achieve the daily liveweight gain (DWLG) targets, sufficient milk quality and milk concentrations.
