Abstract
- The article discusses China's support of the extension of the Kyoto Protocol and the Green Climate Fund. According to the author, the Kyoto Protocol is the sole legally binding agreement that establishes targets for the greenhouse gas emissions of developed countries. The author reports that Xie Zhenhua, China's leading climate negotiator, has declared that China will participate in a legally binding treaty on climate change after 2020 under specific conditions.
