Abstract
- Describes a scaling approach applied for measuring the net carbon dioxide flux to provide an estimate of the net exchange during the 1994-1996 annual cycle for the Kuparuk Basin. Use of carbon flux data as input for the calculation of gross primary production; Indications that were received from basin-wide estimates of net carbon dioxide about the level of different categories of tundra; Comparison between estimates of carbon dioxide exchange received by direct measurement and scaling method.
