Abstract
- In this article the author discusses the study conducted by researcher A. Scholz and colleagues which shows that endothelial cells' angiopoietin-2 (Ang2) is sufficient to recruit myeloid cells and induce inflammation in absence of inflammatory stimuli. It states that the study provides compelling evidence that Ang-2 has role in inflammatory responses. It mentions that this finding has important clinical implication as inflammation has link with several diseases.
