LOS PARIENTES DE ESTER DE LUIS FAYAD: ESTÉTICA DE LA INMEDIATEZ Y SUBJETIVIDADES INCIPIENTES DURANTE EL FRENTE NACIONAL.

In this article, the novel Los parientes de Ester, by Luis Fayad, will be analyzed. The analysis allows to understand the author's ethical-aesthetic proposals (Bourdieu, 1997), as well as his evaluation of Modernity, the processes of modernization in Colombia during the Frente Nacional period (1958-1974) and their relation with the individual. This way, the article attempts to reinforce a new interpretation about Fayad's work that calls to question the way it has been studied and promoted in Colombia since the moment of its first edition issue.
