Abstract
- The article analyzes the methodology which measures gas-phase glyoxal and methylglyoxal through the laser-induced phosphorescence of glyoxal and methylglyoxal spectrometry (LIPGLOS). It states that the new method can obtain high time resolution, in situ measurements of volatile organic compounds (VOC) via laser-induced phosphorescent decays. It notes that the method allows the simultaneous measurement of both glyoxal and methylglyoxal using a single, nonwavelength- tunable light source.
