Abstract

Information about several papers presented at a workshop called "Global Psycho-Pharmaceuticals - Local Interventions," held at the University of Berlin in Germany from May 14 to May 15, 2011 is presented. Topics include standardization in psychiatry, the diagnosis of Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in British school children, and general practitioners' (GPs) prescriptions for psychotropic medication. Several scholars spoke, including Viola Balz, Stefan Ecks, and Anne Lovell.
