Abstract: The article presents the study concerning on the iodine deficiency of schoolgirls in Great Britain. It notes that the study has been conducted by Mark Venderpump and colleagues which shows that iodine deficiency does not exist only in low-income nations. It offers suggestions in preventing iodine deficiency including eggs and salt iodisation.
