Abstract
- Information about several papers discussed at a meeting held August 2011 sponsored by the Ecological Society of America on drought-induced forest mortality is presented. Topics include the patterns of mortality across landscapes, the involvement of tree stress and biotic agents such as pests and diseases, and investigations of physiological mechanisms of drought-induced tree mortality. The meeting featured several researchers including Henry Adams from University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona.
