Abstract: This work presents an experience where movies, literature and work at Sciences laboratory are merged together. They help to acquire new learning skills related with the transmission of infections diseases. The text "Ensayo sobre la ceguera" written by José Saramago and its film version "Blindness" have been chosen as material to work with by connecting Science with daily life, the reading ability of our students have been developed.
