Abstract

The article presents a study on a novel temporary aneurysm neck bridge system (TANBS) to help assist aneurysm treatment in a canine model. The researchers conducted the study under a protocol approved by the Medical University of South Carolina Institutional Animal Care Committee. They also created 20 sidewall aneurysms in 10 canines using a vein graft technique. They found that the TANBS device provided parent artery protection.
