Abstract
- Abstract: The Monte Carlo (MC)-discrete ordinates (SN) coupled method is an efficient approach to solve shielding calculations of large nuclear device with complex geometries. However, it is time-consuming and error-prone to describe and verify the models for simulation. The MC-SN coupled automatic modeling program for radiation transport simulation (RCAM) has been developed to achieve bi-directional conversion between CAD model and input geometry description of MC-SN coupled transport simulation code. This paper introduces main features of RCAM. RCAM-based modeling process and preliminary applications for ITER benchmark model are also presented. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
