Abstract

The article discusses the history of atrocities against Jews in Europe. Particular focus is given to crimes against Jews in Germany. The author draws parallels between the cruel treatment of children and Jews in medieval Germany. It is suggested that wars and atrocities are caused by one group re-experiencing childhood traumas and violently projecting them onto another group. Details related to various historians' explanations for the Jewish Holocaust of 1939-1945 are presented, with an emphasis on the psychology of Nazi leader Adolf Hitler.
