Abstract

The article presents a study that assessed the extent of research ethics approval and informed reporting. The study reviewed 219 full articles emanating from Cameroon and indexed in PubMed from 2005-2009. It revealed 57.753 percent articles reporting ethics approval, 70.78 percent informed consent and 50.68 percent both ethics approval and informed consent. It also covered some structures for ethics review.
