Abstract

The Plathelmintos are of the class Trematoda, possess two suction cups, by which also he called distomas. Most is flattened in the form of sheet and hermaphrodite, which excluded the schistosomes. The flukes are lifecycle complex, with the following stages: egg, that embriona in water; first ciliada larva or Schistosoma, which enters the snail, first intermediary host; esporoquiste; in some flukes, redia, which has asexual reproduction within the snail, and finally that invades the definitive host on the skin (Schistosoma) cercaria or forming cysts called metacercariae plants (Fasciola), fish (Clonorchis) or crabs (Paragonimus). There are many trematodiasis animal and multiple human infections are acquired from these. The majority of human infections have system involvement and according to its location described thus: blood and tissues: schistosomiasis; liver: fascioliosis and clonorquiosis; lung: paragonimosis; intestine: fasciolopsiosis. It should be mentioned that in East and Southeast Asia refer permanently new trematodiosis, the custom of eating raw seafood. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
