Abstract

The article presents a reprint of a short story "Monologue for Jutito," by Antonio Gálvez Ronceros, which appeared in the book "Monólogo desde las tinieblas," published in 1975. The story revolves around an Afro-Peruvian boy named Jutito. In the story the author says to Jutito, the things he will have to learn when he grows up to be a man like working on fields to fulfill his life.
