Abstract
- The article presents multiple charts and statistics regarding ethnic, gender and social diversity in U.S. higher education as of 2011, including a chart of doctorates earned by minority-group members and women in 2009, a list of institutions which issued doctorates to U.S. minority-group members between 2005 and 2009, and the debt-load of African American and Hispanic doctoral recipients in 2009.
