Abstract

A literary criticism of the book "Liber de Sapiente" by philosopher Charles de Bovelles is presented. It examines Bovelles' ideas on the concept of Sapientia, or wisdom, and analyzes his metaphor of the mystical mirror. The author explores Bovelles' thoughts on human nature and self-awareness. He also reflects on the influence of philosophers Giovanni Pico della Mirandola and Ramon Lull and addresses the relationship between humans and nature in the work of playwright William Shakespeare.
