Abstract
- The article discusses the development of the 787-9 airplane by the aerospace company Boeing. Scott Fancher, general manager of the 787 program, says that the design process has gone well and that the model will undergo the triple-program review in order to begin initial production in 2012. All Nippon Airways (ANA) executive Mitsuo Morimoto discusses the use of 787-8 and 787-9 airplanes for international flights.
