Abstract
- The article focuses on the study by P. J. Yunker and colleagues, which proposes particle-shape effects for building particle network between air and water interface to prevent coffee-ring effect. It says that the proposed method raises interfacial viscosity; thus, hinders suspended particles to reach the drop edge. The study also shows the significance of shape and surface tensions and the addition of little ellipsoids in suspension of spheres to prevent ellipsoidal particles and ring formation.
