Abstract
- The article reports that Hensel Phelps Construction Co. has been selected as contractor for the planned solar tower of EnviroMission USA at La Paz County near Quartzite, Arizona, in August 2011. According to EnviroMission president Chris Davey, the tower is set to reach about 2,600 feet high. The author adds that the tower will use relatively simple scientific principles to generate electricity. The challenges faced by the project and the terms of the deal are also discussed.
