Abstract: The article discusses research investigating altered telomeres in tumors with ATRX and DAXX mutations. The authors evaluated the status of telomeres in pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PanNETs) with ATRX and DAXX mutations using Sanger sequencing after results from a prior study showed a possible role of ATRX and DAXX in modulating telomeric chromatin.
