Abstract
- The article reports on the advantages of fitting preformed non-fenestrated scleral lenses (ScCLs) and the relevant fitting techniques. It reports on the design of the ScCLs and states that the lenses inserted filled with preservative free saline to create an air-free fluid reservoir between the lens and the eye. It states the lens is inserted filled with saline and fluorescein so that clearance can easily be distinguished from contact.
