Abstract
- The article offers news briefs on the mining industry in Asia. Eldorado Gold Corp. started its mining operation in June 2011 at its Efemçukuru underground gold mine in Izmir, Turkey. OceanaGold Corp. commenced the construction of its Didipio gold-copper project at Nueva Viscaya in Northern Luzon, Philippines.
