Abstract

The article describes the case of a seven-year old pediatric patient with a complex cyst in the kidney. When the patient was four months old, he was diagnosed with tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC). Annual magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) at age 6.5 showed a complex cyst in the left kidney. At age seven, the patient's medications include atenolol, gabapentin, enalapril, lamotrigine and valproic acid. MRI of the kidney showed no increase in the cyst.
