Abstract
- The author comments on the study conducted by K. Raitasalo, M. Holmila and P. Makela on drinking in the presence of underage children. He says that the study found that Finns are almost as commonly normatively opposed as U.S. citizens to drinking in the presence of small children. According to him, Raitasalo and her colleagues showed that compromises are made clearly in a situation of conflicting norms.
