Abstract

The article reports on Frito-Lay's pullout of its Wow! chips off of some store shelves in a reverse test market. It is the company's intention to determine if consumers prefer low or no-fat snacks. An analysis of how the chips have underperformed initial sales expectations is provided. There is a decline in consumer interest for healthier snacks.
