Ambitious Alternative.

The article looks at the production systems used by the aerospace manufacturer Boeing to make their aircraft, especially the 737 jet and the New Small Airplane (NSA). Boeing is increasing rates at its Renton, Washington factory from 31.5 to 42 airplanes per month using a stepped system. Beverly Wyse, manager of the 737 program, says that it has not been decided where the NSA will be produced, as the plane is still being designed.
