Abstract
- The article focuses on the trapped-ion quantum technology developed by C. Ospelkaus and colleagues and N. Timoney and colleagues that uses microwave radiation to execute computations in a quantum processor. It says that the quantum gates performed in a quantum processor are based on entanglement which is a non-intuitive phenomena of quantum physics. Furthermore, it mentions that the achievements of Ospelkaus and Timoney are significant innovations for quantum computing with trapped ions.
