Abstract
- The article critiques the cinematic work of René Clément, director of "Forbidden Game," a film made in 1952 and adapted from the novel of François Boyer. In this film, the director captured the innocence of children as portrayed by the characters of Michel and Paulette and shows that evil or guilt exists only in the universe of adults. It notes the director's ability to convey all of these points by employing various cinematic devices.
