Abstract

In this article, the author discusses the clinical examination for chronic persistent colic. The author states that chronic intussusceptions should be considered as a differential diagnosis in the examination of chronic colic case. He says that serial evaluation of peritoneal samples can provide information to diagnose the said disease. He notes that chronic persistent colic was caused by colocolic intussusceptions which is difficult to diagnose without laparotomy recourse.
