Highlights of recent clinically relevant papers.

The article presents abstracts on veterinary medicine research topics which include one on the rate of post operative infection (POI) for internal fixation repaired equine long bone fractures and arthrodeses, one on the post operative inflammatory responses in horses administered perioperative procaine penicillin, and one on the standing laparoscopic ovariectomy technique for removal of large pathologic ovaries in mares.
