Abstract
- The article describes the case of a 16 year old girl observed due to the presence of asymptomatic lesions of the face and limbs. A histological examination whose orthokeratotic hyperkeratosis leading to a final diagnosis of localized juvenile pityriasis rubra pilars. It is described as a heterogeneous group of diseases clinically characterized by inflammatory follicular keratosis, palmoplantar keratoderma and erythroderma. Its treatment is scarcely effective the usefulness of treatment with inhibitors of tumor necrosis factor has been supported lately.
