An interview with Peter Munk, founder of gold mining corporation Barrick Gold, is presented. He discusses immigrating to Canada at age 18 and how amazed he was by the country. Munk also shares his belief that Canada is uniquely poised, due to Canadian decency, tolerance, and smart fiscal policy, to become a global financial centre. He notes that many countries prefer to partner in business with Canada rather than the U.S. because Canada has fewer enemies.
