Abstract
- The article discusses nonprofit organizations in Japan. An increase in activity of such organizations involved in disaster relief following the 2011 Sendai earthquake is discussed. The 2011 enactment of a law which will make it easier for nonprofit organizations to obtain favorable tax status is examined.
