Abstract
- The article discusses results of a study that determines the coping strategies for tension-type headache (TTH), episodic and chronic. The study methods are described, including the use of Freiburg Questionnaire of Coping with Illness (FQCI) and quality-of-life questionnaires. The study showed that patients suffering from chronic TTH have poorer quality-of-life measures. It concludes that disadvantageous coping strategies may contribute to a transformation to chronic TTH.
