Abstract: The article describes how the web site www.Facebook.com enabled collaboration between stakeholders in emergency-medicine policy in Taiwan. It relates the creation of a Facebook group, Rescue the emergency room, by an emergency physician on February 8, 2011. It discusses how the Department of Health responded to the posts and likes of followers which led to health-care reform.
