Abstract: Information about several papers discussed at a conference held on November 6, 2010 sponsored by the Local Population Studies Society (LPSS) on life experiences and occupation is presented. Topics include male occupations in England and Wales from 1676 to 1881, occupation and migration in Great Britain and Sweden, and apprenticeships in London, England and Bristol, England in the early modern period. Speakers included Patrick Wallis, Emma Griffin, and Colin Pooley.
