Abstract

The article presents a study that traced the obisidian artifacts found in some excavated sites in Bandung, Indonesia. It says that the Cameca MBX Electron Microprobe with wavelength dispersive spectrometers at the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur was used to analyze the obsidian samples from Gua Pawon, Dago, and Bukit Karsamanik. It reveals that the obsidian artifacts from Gua Pawon were created using the two obsidian sources of Gunung Kendan in Nagreg and Kapung Rejeng in Garut.
