JORNAL IMPRESSO.COM: O desafio da participação on-line no fazer jornalístico em tempos de convergência.

This article analyses the behaviour of journalists in a daily newspaper considering the graphic and editorial changes that provide tools for the on-line participation of the public. It intends to analyze the traditional productive routine that values the editorial decisions at newsroom, concerning the performance of gatekeepers and how journalists deal with challenges of convergence at newsroom, like the interaction at websites. This changes impel the adoption of new on-line graphic dispositions that are able to promote the participation of newspaper's public in different ways, like: trough windows designid to permit commentaries about stories and for suggestions, stimulating the gatewatching. To exemplify this phenomena, we will analyze the case of Diario do Nordeste, which had passed trough graphic improvements, in these therms, four years ago. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
