Abstract

An article is presented that reports on dining in New Orleans, Louisiana for attendees at the American Library Association's (ALA) Annual Conference in 2011. The article discusses the importance of food in New Orleans' culture and the costs and menus of restaurants near the Conference's convention center. The article also describes the city's Central Business District (CBD) and its proximity to the French Quarter neighborhood. Information is provided on restaurants including Acme Oyster and Seafood Restaurant, Herbsaint, and Tommy's Cuisine as well.
