Abstract
- Evaluates whether the induction and maintenance of general anesthesia in pediatric patients without preoxygenation at induction had any effect on the lung tissue. Verification of the efficacy of positive endexpiratory pressure in resolving any incidence of pulmonary atelectasis; Explanation for the appearance of atelectasis in dependent regions of the lung in pediatric patients; Incidence of postsurgical hypoxia.
