Moving in the city.

The article discusses six projects initiated by the U.S. Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) to manage traffic congestion in U.S. highways. The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) sponsored the Congestion Reduction Demonstration (CRD) Initiative in Atlanta, Florida, Miami, Florida, Seattle, Washington and three other Urban Partners to relieve urban congestion. The Urban Partners implemented tolling and pricing strategies, transit strategies, telecommuting and technology strategies of multi-modal traveler information and enhanced traffic operations.
