Abstract
- The article discusses research on the effectiveness of a portable and percutaneous cardiopulmonary bypass system for rewarming of patients with accidental severe hypothermia. The study subjects included patients from an emergency medical center and trauma center in Kanagawa, Japan. A Seldinger technique was used to attempt percutaneous cannulation.
