Abstract
- The article discusses a 5-year economic plan developed by the government of China and its prioritization of civil aviation and growth in the aircraft industry. Planned activities of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) are discussed. Aircraft construction is said to be part of 7 industries that will be earmarked in the plan for their strategic significance.
