Abstract
- The article offers developments related to the mineral industry in Asia. It notes that the move of Centerra Gold Inc. to invest 405 million dollar to expand production and extend mine life at its Kumtor gold operations in the Kyrgykz Republic. It also mentions the selection of Amsterdam & Peroff LLP by the Oxus Gold PLC to act on its behalf regarding its 50 percent interest in Amantaytau Goldfields (AGF) in Uzbekistan.
