Abstract: The article discusses the efforts of veterinarians to control air around swine to prevent porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS). Doctor Darwin L. Reicks advised to not allow unfiltered air into the farm. Doctor Scott A. Dee said that swine veterinarians are prepared and can eliminate PRRS and that a voluntary eradication plan could attain that goal. Meanwhile, it mentions that doctor Montserrat Torremorell attempts to devise a vaccine against all PRRS strains.
